I love your site! Will definitely visit 'when' we make our trip to Cromarty! So thinking we would love to live there! Thank You!!

I came across your site by accident and read all the fascinating history of the pottery and the Dunns. Then I realised that my father-in-law had given me a pretty, little pottery box many years ago by the same Alison Dunn!

Cromarty Pottery nostalgia
I have found myself on your website and was so pleased to see the 'wee' shops that my grandmother and great aunt used to have to sell their own beautifully crafted goods.
Their names were Mary and Jean Barwell and they lived on Braehead. I have only been back to Cromarty once since they moved away, around 1995, but hope to come back this year. Hope to see you then.

Hi Philippa. I remember you well, and also your sister Alex. I also have fond memories of the Barwells and the crafts they used to sell from the old shops up the pottery lane. Please do drop by and say hello next time you're here.

just wanted to say 'thank you' again for your help when we visited the shop today with our grandchildren.
As always you had a fantastic range of pottery and we will certainly visit again.
